Biography:
Calvin began his career in real estate brokerage when he earned his real estate license at the age of 22, only two months after graduation from the University of Vermont. Calvin worked for three years selling resort real estate before the real estate downturn in 2008 created an increase in the distressed real estate market. In 2009, Calvin began working with short sales and pre-foreclosures, helping homeowners to sell their homes while avoiding foreclosure. In addition, Calvin began helping international investors to find and acquire below market residential foreclosed properties.
Calvin started his current company, Solutions Home Buyers, in 2009 and has since been helping investors to locate and acquire below market value, off market residential investment properties. His motivation and inspiration come in part from the fine example set by his Grandparents who were very successful real estate investors, his grandfather in particular moving to South Florida in the 1960's and becoming a pioneer in the real estate development industry in the area. A business school graduate of the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont, Calvin relocated to South Florida 12 years ago as a full time resident.
